We are delighted to announce that we have added to our trophy shelf! Having officially been crowned the best small lettings agent in the East Midlands as part of the 2019 Best Estate Agent Guide (BEAG).

The company was awarded Best Small Lettings 2019 in the East Midlands after attending the recent BEAG ceremony at the InterContinental® London.

The BEAG, now in its second year, is compiled by the Property Academy and is supported by the UK’s leading property portal Rightmove. It is the most comprehensive assessment of its type ever undertaken in the property industry.

Each award is merited based on an agent’s individual branch performance and is measured through a combination of mystery shopper visits, market share scores, Rightmove stats, Feefo reviews and overall customer satisfaction.

Stephanie Caine, lettings director, said: “We’re absolutely over the moon to be named Best Small Lettings agent in the East Midlands. This award recognises the fantastic teamwork, dedication and commitment of our lettings team – they deserve this.

“I was honoured to pick up the award on behalf of the team given that the Best Estate Agent Guide is the most comprehensive analysis of the current market – it is no mean feat to achieve such an award. At Royston & Lund, our staff always go the extra mile to ensure the customer is given exactly what they want. Our entire business has been built with this in mind and that’s why we’ve continued to go from strength to strength.”

Earlier this year, Royston & Lund also achieved its best result in its 24 year history after being named Best Estate Agent in the UK 2018 at the Estate Agent of the Year Awards (ESTAS). This news was coupled with the opening of our Keyworth branch which offers both sales and lettings services allowing us to expand our presence even further across the region

As a professional ARLApropertymark Agent we are pleased to hear that the Government is looking to introduce a requirement for private sector landlords in England to ensure electrical installations in their properties are inspected every five years.

We have been strongly recommending this to all landlords over the last 10yrs and more so over recent years, with some properties us being insistent on having a satisfactory EICR report.

The latest monthly Property Professional magazine ARLApropertymark ran the following article;

If you are a Landlord we act on behalf of and you wish us to arrange a EICR inspection report for you please contact our property management team on [email protected] or contact the team on Tel: 0115 9141122.

It was great to be at Keyworth CC Juniors presentation night on Friday with Gary Lund delighted to present the 'Royston & Lund Spirit of Cricket Award' to Charlie Wood.

Its great to be able to support the Keyworth community with our investment in Keyworth CC, the ground on Platts Lane is also home to Keyworth Football Club, making this a well used community facility.

We were delighted to attend the Pierrepont Gamston Primary School leavers assembly in order to present the latest Royston & Lund Sporting Achievement Award. Kate Warden was the popular winner, due to her excellent skills and effort in all sports she partakes in, as well as playing as a real team member. As usual, she won a replica trophy to take home as well as £200 to spend on sporting equipment for the school. It was a real privilege to be involved in the assembly as the children spoke of their memories at the school before they leave to go on to secondary education. Not a dry eye in the house!

We are delighted to have presented the latest Royston & Lund Sporting Achievement to Chloe Salisbury at Abbey Road School. The award was made in front of a packed assembly and Chloe was obviously a popular winner with her classmates. A willingness to be a great team member helped her to win the award as well as fantastic technical skills in many sports, particularly in football. In fact Chloe plays at Leicester City currently so fingers crossed everything goes well for her. As usual, we donated £200 for Chloe to spend on sporting equipment for the school.

Our award is a real highlight in the schools calendar and awards day is eagerly anticipated. We started making the award 7 years ago to the four schools we work with, meaning we have donated well over £5000 to the schools involved.
